Thanksgiving Wishes

As many of us make the trek to see family (I certainly am) it’s important to remember what the Thanksgiving holiday is all about. Spend the time wisely with your loved ones, share laughs and good times, and enjoy the meal prepared – but don’t enjoy it too much!

This will probably be my last Thanksgiving in Queens so it will be bittersweet. But, it’s my dad’s 65th birthday and a celebration of his impending retirement next Monday. I have an amazing gift up my sleeve for him that is sure to land me the “World’s Best Daughter” title for infinity and beyond. I cannot wait to share it with him and tell you all about it! (hint: history buff-related)

So with that said, have a great holiday and if you’re turkey trotting, good luck! This will be me after the Garden City 5 Mile Turkey Trot tomorrow:

Are you traveling for the holiday? Any plans on a turkey trot? If so, are you dressing up for it?
